For Teachers: Our Mutual Commitment
As the mentors of the "Skills for Life 2.0" project, we believe that a safe and collaborative environment is the key to success. Therefore, we have agreed on the following principles:
• We Prioritize Safety (GDPR): We care about our students' privacy. We agree to register our students on TwinSpace using only their first names or nicknames, never their full surnames,
• We Protect Identities: When sharing photos or videos of our classroom activities, we choose to protect our students' digital footprints by avoiding close-up face shots or by using blurring tools/emojis,
• We Are Active Partners: We understand that collaboration is more than just uploading files. We promise to comment on our partners' work, participate in forums, and stick to the monthly project calendar,
• We Respect Creativity: We value intellectual property. We agree to use copyright-free materials (Creative Commons) or always cite our sources when creating content,
• We Ensure Communication:To keep our project alive and dynamic, we agree to use the TwinSpace Teacher Bulletin and Forums as our main communication channels.
🎓 For Students: Our Netiquette & Promise
We are the "Future Coders" and active citizens of this project. To make this journey fun and safe for everyone, we promise the following:
• We Are Digital Citizens: We know that the internet has rules too. We agree to keep our passwords, phone numbers, and home addresses private and never share them with anyone online,
• We Use Avatars: Instead of using our real photos as profile pictures, we choose to be creative! We agree to use avatars or symbols that represent us,
• We Are Kind & Respectful: We know that our partners come from different cultures. We promise to always be polite, use kind words in the forums, and respect everyone’s ideas. We do not use bad language or write in ALL CAPS (which means shouting),
• We Are Collaborative: We are excited to work in Mixed Country Teams! We agree to help our teammates, answer their messages, and complete our tasks on time.
• We Are Original: We want to show our own skills. We promise not to copy our friends' work and to be honest about the sources we use for our homework.
